All that "winning the minds of the people" and nation building resulted in nothing.

I bet us being there for 20 years killed as much people as if we went there, fuck up shit in 1 year and left. But at least the people will leave peacefully after a year. Must be better than having a foreign army occupy parts of your country for 20years.
