Also Polish and other such prisoners weren't "planned to be gassed". If they were to be executed they would be either just shot or got a lethal injection, for routine methods, or publicly hanged in special cases (such as a failed escape attempt), or starved to death in an underground dungeon also in special cases (like famously in the case of Saint Kolbe who volunteered for such a death to take place of an another). Or the kapos were just casually told to beat them to death.

My family member was in one of Auschwitz camps. She wasn't any "political prisoner", she was taken as a teenage slave just to work in a factory.
