On his urge to join the social justice cult and his apparent tsundere crush on Elon musk - "It felt just like back in the day, when I first started doubting Christianity"
Looks like the dude's always been a follower, just hopping from cause to cause with the same zealot's mindset of faith in personalities and selective memory, just with a shorter than average attention span. His apparent criterion for switching to a new cause are "is it the most recent thing I've been introduced to?" and "does it involve a significant amount of cringey YouTube dunking on people?". If yes to both, sign him the fuck up apparently.
I've also found an unfortunate amount of Atheists that appear to have been genuinely what the Christians called "Mad At God" types. They didn't actually not believe in God. They just didn't like God because of what it represented in their mind (typically abusive and zealous parents). It has, over time, lead to a lot of the Atheists becoming Leftist religious zealots, or even claiming they are Christian.
It seems to be a thing with some people that they still don't develop themselves as individuals and they just move form one sect to another that may be more temporarily useful to their own emotional needs at a given time.
As time goes on, I feel more and more like I'm one of the few people who had genuinely deconverted from religious faiths and have embraced the "God is dead and it is we who have killed him" quote which makes taking responsibility for the death of God (in your mind) a moral imperative; and to replace the concept of God altogether.
There's just a swath of people who never really grew up, and it's sad.

It's Al Bundy syndrome all over again.
