Humanity is never going to make it off this planet to colonize space, are we?

Average IQ is going to be 85 in a 100 years.

Even if we make it to a generation starship it'll be commandeered by blue haired 70 IQ diversity hires and inhabited by useless idiots who'll go max 2 years before they start burning down the hydroponic farms in protest over how they're not getting enough junk food as part of their daily rations and how that's racist and sexist.

If I was an alien species I would make sure humans never infect other places.

It definitely seems like wokeism is a more serious "great filter" than war, or whatever else people assumed it was in the past. War accelerates innovation and the most significant jump in space exploration we've ever had was a dick measuring contest between two nations.

Meanwhile wokeism rots out the entity from the inside, causing the total cessation of all functionality. It could be a kind of biological limitation, that a species that reaches our stage will eat itself and get kicked back into a dark age.

No, our IQs and innovation have declined so much that the dream is beyond our reach now. We don't have to go to mars though to get an "alien invasion" though, already can witness one all over the West.

Average IQ might not matter that much when space travel is the realm of unusually high & autistic intelligence anyway. I could see a kind of dual caste forming in the west as the elite and intelligent get more insulated from the general hellhole population.

It's a long shot, but maybe enough of them could get to mars to be the seed of a new society - and probably eventually a new human subspecies since it could be a long time before earthlings can make contact again.

Another possibility is that the west's intelligent citizens will bail to somewhere like Russia, get into government etc, and then focus on escaping to mars before that nation is eaten by wokeism too.

I don't know if that's true. I read a book a while back called American Nations that suggests that immigrants to America have historically chosen to live in regions where people share their values. If so, that would suggest that the leftists would mostly move to the same set of planets and live under their racial caste system. People who aren't leftists would go to other planets. Of course, this would all assume that we're in a position to choose between several different planets.

If that are the case it would just end up like the situation currently in America. The leftists will ruin their planets and then move to and try to implement the same policies on more based planets.

Young women are also easy to influence. It's their lack of men governing them that's part of the problem.

Women contour to the dominant dogma. They are more religious on average (church attendance is very skewed), when they first got the vote in the UK it lead to more conservative MPs because they were slightly more conservative than men, as that was the prime dogma.

Wokeism is anti-darwinian, its carriers are less likely to pass on their genes, or if they do then they end up castrating their children. Obviously some wokers do breed successfully, but on average a conservative and traditionally religious woman is much more likely to spawn a family that's both large and stable, not to mention mentally healthy. In a SHTF scenario it's these kinds of families that will be best off.

My point: wokeism is genetic suicide. By nature it will destroy itself and those who are resistant to it will inherit the earth. The question is how deep we'll be into the new dark age by then and how much (if any) worthwhile civilization is left.

Not really. Vast majority of leftist women won't reproduce. Population relies on those who do reproduce, welfare queens and conservative women.

Or, hear me out on this one, we build three huge ark ships. We put all of them on ark ship B, and we tell them it has autopilot. Then we launch it towards some unknown sector of space, preferably directly at a star, so we don't end up screwing up the colonization of another planet, like the Golgafrincham species did...

If we can figure out a way to escape the wall of fiery hot plasma surrounding our solar system, we can figure out how to efficiently grow humans in tubes.
