Transitioning doesn't prevent suicides. They also censor people who regret surgically transitioning, so many see it as the solution, when it often cements problems.

Doesn't help that the healthcare facilities in charge of helping people through the problem have removed everyone that's not an activist. NHS in the UK is currently being sued for just this. People who went to them were never questioned by staff to determine they were truly trans, or whether transitioning was the best for them, the staff just immediately started their medical transitioning.
