Is it because no one pays attention to care anymore? I didn't even know they were blackwashing another character
In the comics he is gay now and dresses like a woman.
I can't tell if that's sarcasm.
Haven't read the article yet, but my knee-jerk reaction was to say "Maybe that's because most of the actual MCU fans checked the fuck out after Endgame and don't give two shits about the fanfic that Disney is now producing?"
I mean, let's be real. Anyone who has followed the saga of SJWMarvel since back in 2012 saw this coming as soon as Endgame finished up. They made him into Captain Falcon in the comic books, and that went over like a turd in a punch bowl thanks to the ultra-wokeness of the writing. They toned it down a bit for the TV show, but they still got their jabs in with bringing in the retcon from the comics of the black guy as the test subject for the Serum, as well as Sam getting hassled for existing while being black.
I don't blame the actors for the stupidity of the writers, so I don't see any reason in giving Mackie any flak for the direction the woketards are taking the MCU. I just vote with my wallet and stay away from anything that shows up on D+ by not subscribing to the service.
Well, really, Sam Wilson was the only possible choice. Bucky's time as the Winter Soldier disqualified him.
I'm opposed to falcon becoming Captain America because:
Falcon was already a cool superhero
The new CA costume looks terrible
He's not a super soldier, so it makes no sense for him to be throwing a shield or fighting anyone hand-to-hand
His new suit is apparently wakandan, and they installed whatever technology he needs right in the ass crack for him to pull as necessary, so he's basically Iron Man now
I never finished the final episode since the second to last episode just made me to angry to continue with the woke messaging. And thats saying a lot I am big MCU fan. The dude who was Captain America is the show did nothing wrong. Everyone in the MCU has casually killed people. Captain America is not Batman.
Did he receive pushback for accepting Altered Carbon S2 when he was an awful choice for it?
Why is your decision based on how much pushback you get? If it's a good idea, you should do it on principle alone.
It's almost as though he knows it's wrong and and can only be dissuaded by being popularly reviled.
That doesn't sound like the decision making process of someone with a sound moral constitution.
Because people don't care when the choice makes sense within the story being told, but changing things just for shits and giggles is fucking obnoxious.
A well developed character taking up the mantle of his mentor after earning it receives virtually no pushback. In other news, water is liquid.
I thought he was cool as falcon on the comic books. They already gave him the shield in the comics so I fully expected it. I don’t have Disney plus anymore and I stopped reading new marvel comics but I fully expect them to use every storyline in the comics since Disney bought them so expect heavy female “representation”
