Or pick games that aren't so revolved around combat? There's quite a few of those to choose from. But then, they go to these games and say "I wanna fight muh friends! I want arena! I want pvp! I want harder combat/more NPCs!"
Journalists drink too much, are bad at managing emotions, and operate at a lower level than average, according to a new study

This is according to a new study led by neuroscientist and leadership coach Dr Tara Swart, who selected 40 journalists from newspaper, magazine, broadcast, and online platforms to analyse.
Even then, the actual combat in XIII was like making a video game of Adam West's batman, with the player's contribution being whether to flash "pow", "biff", or "bam".
1st is the health issues like carpal tunnels caused by needless button mashing over hold down. Sure it's fun when you're young. Not so much when you're older.
2nd is game design obsessing over flawless execution of game mechanics by grading your performance which in turn fuel game community fetishization of 100% no damage hardcore mode walkthroughs and giving shity looks for anything below
3rd is the easy access to pixel reading software that allows for easy automations of MMO DPS rotations.
I may be going bit offtopic here but this is a case of a broken clock being right twice a day.
Taking attention away from this shit bot account to say yes we must gatekeep the hobby had we done so more vigilantly from the start all this shit wouldnt be the bloody norm.
Maybe the fucking AI could write the review too. It would certainly be more coherent, informative, and entertaining.
I've never understood why these people just don't watch movies.

trannies and fake geeks OUT OF MY HOBBY
This is like saying you liked Final Fantasy XIII for its intense, engaging combat mechanics.
Final Fantasy XIII was just an on rails tutorial till you hit the Gran Pulse area about 30 hours in.
One of the most disappointing Final Fantasy games in my opinion.

The game played itself and the story did not make up for that at all.
The issue is so much more complex than that.

From anyone who doesn't actually care it does look like petty gatekeeping.
But these people are generally ignorant to the constant problems the gaming industry has had with shitty journalists.
From anyone who doesn't actually care - is an enemy whose opinions don't matter.
If they don't care about something, then why should their opinions about said thing matter? Nothing worthwhile has ever come from apathy.
Why should we give a shit what people who don’t actually care have to say?
You've only been posting here for 23 hours.
I too was the CEO of gamergate, until I left and lost my password.

yes.
Because let's plays are free, first world problems man.
I'm not good at games but I don't like you types either. Gatekeeping is what keeps the fandom good and friendly and kicking out unstable people.
