They can have very strong opinions. It's polite to act mild unless with friends

Of course they can have opinions, but they are not outwardly super passionate.

Great, now my mind is on it. I've met some very rude and pompouse swedes, but also sweet and kind ones. I've always thought the mildness was being polite, and it can be very different when they decide to not be polite.

I'm going to go ask friends about it.
