fun fact: if you're shadowbanned, and you create a sub, it gets banned immediately

i wonder if there's a limit to how many instantly banned subs i can create
Why are you even using reddit?
ever since they got rid of consumeproduct i've used it less, but there's still some subs worth going to, for me at least. buildapcsales, crackwatch, freegamefindings, gamedeals, & 4chan. i'm not sure we have the equivalent of those on .win yet.
i have no idea why i was shadowbanned, but i don't really care either. i just think its interesting that subs get instantly banned the moment you create them when you have a shadowban. might have some fun with it.
There are no subs worth giving them clicks for.
Sure, I'd love to talk about Star Wars Armada. But I'd rather see reddit burn. That site is dead to me, I don't see why other people's conviction is so lacking.
The old depressing truth of human willingness to sacrifice principles and freedom for convenience and safety.
Social media companies want views on ads, mental influence and sellable data. If they're not getting paid and they're not turning you into an intersectional leftist, clicks aren't worth shit.
You know what I mean you pretentious twit.
Social media companies want to make money, sure. But they want to control you most of all.
Using their site is letting them control you.
reddit will continue to destroy itself, don't worry.
That is not my concern. They could last forever and it wouldn't change my perspective at all.
It's like this:
In this culture war, I've burned bridges most people don't even have. My extended family being as deeply involved in the democratic party as they are, for me, there is no going back.
It's not "oh, I won't use reddit again", it's "oh, I'll never see my relatives at a holiday again".
So I'm kinda peeved when I see people being one foot in and one foot out about using sites on the other side of the argument.
When I leave a site, that's it. Done. Gone. No looking back. Too much has been sacrificed to change course now.
you realize kotakuinaction2 still exists on reddit, right?
It shouldn't. If the mods had any dignity they'd have blown it away months ago.
i think they gotta leave it up for a little while so people get word about this place. i didn't even realize KIA2 was on .win until i visited the subreddit.
I agree. They shouldn't be doing anything on reddit, except maybe trying to direct people here.
The cats of course. reddit has the best cats.
so they just gave us a gun basically. i wonder if there is a countermeasure of some sort to allow others to make that sub but not a shadowbanned person if not theoretically speaking a script could be used to mass create insta-baned subs limiting the available names of subreddits.
/r/redditrequest can be used to request banned subreddits, so presumably at least some of the good ones would be re-used. Plus if it became a big enough issue they would probably fix it.
I doubt it would hurt Reddit much in the end.
thanks for the clarification on that so this is a dud was just a thought
that's why i'm not really trying to go on a spree. i think just a few key subreddits banned might cause people to think "wtf reddit". so far i got r/transarepeopletoo, r/jewsaregoodpeople, and r/BLMIsreal created and banned instantly. any idea for other good ones?
i doubt it can be dones with a script. as soon as i created two of them, it told me to hold off for 38 minutes to create a third. i'll keep making them for fun but i have no idea how long it'll last or if they'll even stay. have subs ever been unbanned?
idk on the unban bit i don't really use reddit for much save visiting VERY specific communities and their fallback's.
