Batya Ungar-Sargon: "*Of course* elite prep schools love wokeness. It's the perfect cover story for people who don't want to share power or wealth or the American Dream. Kids, don't worry that no one poorer than you can have a decent life! Ignore your wild economic privilege! Just focus on race!" (twitter.com)

Men, of course.

I hope it was obvious what I was mocking.

Kinda, yeah, but it is a bit of an odd example to bring up in this context; it disproves his claim outright, but dipping into women-worsting supports female privilege being significant nonetheless.

I guess it may be confusing, but I was taking a shot simultaneously at him and at the "25% of homeless are women" victim nonsense.

Though in my opinion, you cannot measure privilege solely by outcomes, because one is ex ante and one is ex post. For example, the Chinese in Malaysia do better than Malays despite being disadvantaged, because of their culture and hard work. Whether that is true for women and homelessness is to be debated, but that's the point, it cannot be assumed either way.
