I live in Texas and am surprised by the people upset about this. A lot of businesses will probably still require masks. Honestly the main problem is that they have scared people for so long with the hysteria that now they think masks save them from everything.
Of course there are people saying “but he isn’t following the science!”
Honestly If you can’t see that the virus will spread regardless of lockdowns or masks. If you are high risk take further precautions
There's obviously some excess mortality- how much is coof- how much is shutdowns? In either case it is certainly not zero. A good chunk is going to be coof I think but I expect there to be a dearth of mortality the next year or two; basically anyone who died of coof would have died in a year or two without. And yes, is bad, but you seem pretty blasé about the former group so eat a dick, buddy.
The dearth of mortality thing could be interesting to see how that plays out. I never thought of that. My grandfather got the WuFlu and died. His quality of life had fallen off a cliff before Covid even hit. I wouldn't have bet a dime he'd make it two years. Hell, I might could make an argument it did him a favor. I've been through the ole age deaths of a lot of relatives, it's often slow and brutal.
Selfish American.... Eat shit you piece of shit... Sjws and you guys deserve each other!
lol cry more. unless your society is willing to do a real hard lockdown like mainland China, and if you are european or american it isn't (and it's not just the 'my freedom' types, it's also the first time a brown person was made to comply with force and it got caught on video then riots and shit) then soft lockdowns don't do shit. Sorry but that's the drawback of living in a factional society (yay diversity). All this destruction and disruption and the most optimistic estimates are it lowered cases by 10% over a given time frame. And it's fucking Spring, my dude; we've seen coof is seasonal so if not now then when?
Now it's your turn to insult me and not refute my argument again.
