It's simply that I'm Quaker. If you're waiting for me to advocate for direct action, you'll be waiting forever.
We aren't waiting on you to call for direct action, and I'm sure a fair amount of people respect pacifism.
Still, there is a big difference between wishful thinking "the courts will handle it" and a call to action. If the courts do pass this you and presumably other quakers will just turn in your weapons based on your response. I guess hiding them is not a direct action either, so that is a possibility.
Regardless, even if you did support a "direct action" it would not be smart to comment that on a public forum.

If you want direct action you'll have to do it yourself.
