The Proud Boys is a far-right, male-only extremist group that is active in the US. Canada's Parliament on Monday passed a symbolic motion calling on the Prime Minister to designate it a terrorist group.
Mr Frydenberg said seeing men wearing the Proud Boys logo marching through his home city was "very concerning".
"I think it's frightening for us all," he told ABC Radio Melbourne.
"There is a rise in far-right conspiracy theories and a rise in anti-Semitism globally, as well as … here in Australia and indeed in Melbourne.
There isn't a single incident they can point to that justifies being frightened by the Proud Boys. Canadian Parliament designating them a terrorist group is as clown world as it gets.

Why do I have a feeling that this is not true...
It was probably a trailer for a movie that had Nazis in it (as the bad guys obv) and this is how they spin it.

this one stands out to me.... I dont recall white people referring to Jews as cockroaches, thats a typically Muslim thing to say. If white australians are being anti-semetic theyd normally call them "Kikes" like America does... but ive never heard of a white person calling a Jew a cockroach... that name is reserved for Turks hahahahaha
Exactly. They're making it up to further their agenda, and if they were somehow caught and had to admit they didn't actually hear someone say that they'd say, "well some people somewhere actually do say those things and we started an important conversation!"
