It used to be considered credible in the past in regard to criminals having certain facial structures and features. It was "debunked" since then though.

These features corresponded, he argued, to a “love of orgies and the irresistible craving for evil for its own sake, the desire not only to extinguish life in the victim, but to mutilate the corpse, tear its flesh, and drink its blood.”

Phrenology. AFAIK on a large enough sample it works, but the correlation is so weak it's practically useless.
