For me its twitter
Worst people there
Worst service
Locks you out and bans you for everything
Wants so much private information(not that i've ever given any to them)
Super toxic system in general that breeds toxicity
Just a place for commies to fester and literally engage in Mao's struggle sessions.
Far too much power on society
It's not Twitter. You can see tons of primary source video on that platform.
The worst is actually reddit. That's where the leftist hivemind generates false consensus. If you've ever gotten into an argument with a leftist in real life, you can usually spot the exact moment they switch into "reddit mode" and begin spouting the talking points they saw there. You cannot dissuade them beyond that point because they know that their ideas were "top voted".
Yea, could you imagine someone like Andy Ngo reporting on BLM/Antifa riots and looting on Reddit?
Tumblr before they moved to twitter and reddit. That place was legit toxic, and it's where the vast majority of the current pronouns and other hellish ideas were born.
If only they had stayed there... wistful sigh
True, tumblr was a honeypot of wokeness
I don't use it, but I hate instagram. What is even the point of it? Just a giant advertisement.
It's pretty cool depending on what you want. Instagram is a social media platform that sort of fits everyone like a glove. For instance I have one old insta account that's all hot chicks, and recommends me more hot chicks. Now I'm into fit girls, so it's nice when it basically feeds me every fit girl on the planet so I don't have to go looking for them.
On the other hand, I have a new insta account that I actually use with friends, and it's all right wing memes, gym/workout tips, and diet/food recipes. So naturally that's all it recommends to me on this account, no hoes or distractions.
The nifty part is looking at other peoples instagram on their phone, it's completely different than mine or anyone elses. So it really reflects what your interests/hobbies are and that's the real danger with it, it's an easy way to sink tons of time into it and be distracted.
The “models” and memes
Babes
Ugh, agreed on Pinterest. Fuck that site so much. It is as bad as those directory sites where of you search for something obscure and you get results that match your search perfectly only to find it is just more fucking search results for your keywords rather than an actual website about the topic.
Hey does anyone know how to re-access a locked twitter account when it asks for a code that is sent to a number you no longer use?
Twitter. Hands down the worst.
Twitter.
Worst censorship, worst people...when it was literally the worst service technically when the fail whale would pop up all the time is ironically its heyday. (FYI the term should be hAyday as the day you get the tasty and valuable hay would be the best day)
Follow too many people too quickly and they make you add your phone #, to be seen by anyone and not shadowbanned you need to have a ph#.
Where do you think the term blue checkmarks (both the actual thing and the term "blue checkmark") come from?
99% of cancel culture comes from there
See above. Although Google & FB have more power overall, Twitter really punches above their weight.
Twitter may be a shithole but it's a downright haven of free speech and tolerance compared to Reddit.
is it really? i have not been banned on reddit but i keep getting banned and suspended on twitter
I mean ... relatively speaking. On Twitter you have censorious lefty admins. On Reddit you have censorious lefty admins AND petty tyrant mods AND the whole upvote/downvote mechanic that ensures dissent gets buried.
I haven't used Twitter as much but it seems there are more non-lefties than on Reddit where everything that goes against the narrative gets downvoted or banned by the mods if it gains too much attention.
That said Twitter is most certainly the technically worse site. The whole concept of tweets is trash. Reddit was pretty good before they shit the bed and turned it into a political circlejerk.
Twitter is the worst
I agree. They are all terrible, and I'm surprised YouTube isn't mentioned here. It has been the biggest time drain and sapper of motivation for me until I woke up and realized what I was doing with my life.
