The US is not headed in the kind of direction where joining up would qualify as 'a break' from fascists and communists.

Actually, I think we were only headed in that direction recently. Longterm we'll be fine. And we're still a shit-load better than the EU.

Seriously, Ohio has more freedom from DC than the UK has from Brussels.
