I don't know about you, but when I pack my luggage I just shuffle the suitcases around and don't actually put anything in them.
"Why didn't you bring anything with you?"
"I spent several hours packing."
"... That's the opposite of answering my question."
"I don't know what to tell you."
"Why didn't you pack a toothbrush?"
"I did! I figured that since the TSA was gonna take my toothpaste, I'd be better off packing a toothbrush."
"... so where's the toothbrush?..."
"I figured I could just buy one when I got here."
"But then you'd have two..."
"Of course not, I left my toothbrush at home."
"BUT I THOUGHT YOU PACKED IT!"
"I DID! THAT'S WHY IT'S AT HOME!"
