I was feeling nostalgic lately and thought to search for Sam and Max and found out it was remastered. I almost bought it yesterday but I ended up getting Monkey Island.
And it doesn't seem to be selling that well either.
From the old telltale games, monkey island and back to the future are very good!
Even older and non-telltale, the original lucasarts Sam and max is unbeatable in awesomeness!

It's almost like when you take a product with a niche, but loyal fanbase and edit it for mass appeal, you end up turning off both the original fans and the normies who didn't care in the first place.
People should just play the original, at least when it comes to western games and probably plenty of Japanese ones, too. I know remasters and remakes are “in” right now, but there’s just too much pressure to change things for modern leftist sensibilities.
Can't blame them, or me, when they add a lick of paint on our boy haha. Especially because the original had a resolution limitation of 1024x768. And a weird sound compression thing that always bugged me.

oh man, my sister and i spent HOURS sitting in front of our dads 386 only listening to the title theme of the second one.
i really like the remake, constantly switching between old and new graphics. it's very well done.
