He hit on the significance of 1971, but it is so much more complex. It looks like a regime change, which happens far more often than he acknowledges. The ancaps always want to point to the gold standard. The ethnonats and tradcons point to immigration and the Great Society. But, those don't answer everything. Watergate would probably have an entirely new meaning if we ever figure out what happened.
He is using the progressive left/right framework which makes him sound like beanie boy. I turned it off there.
Women entered the work force and split their husband's wages. We started throwing trillions down the black hole that is the welfare state. We allowed big business to offshore, exfiltrate, and insulate themselves. In a nutshell: everyone raided the prosperity of America simultaneously, mostly under the guise of feminism, social justice, and globalism, and that coalition of leftists and moneyed interests have been running amok ever since. Demographic reform was mostly about destroying the white men who would've fought back.
I only know 1969 was the Days of Rage commie terror attacks featuring the Weathermen.

Sorry you didn't like it and yeah, he does give a whiff of soy boy. But I like that he included historical backround which is so often removed from the conversation.
The msm always paints the current headline as the most important thing that ever happened when of course there are larger long term currents at play.
I though it was thoughtful and without the blaring warning of imminent doom.
It's not that it is bad, but he only took one redpill and I've been raiding the pharmacy for years. It's probably good for easing people into the medicine cabinet.
Edit: I watched more after u/w-duranty6489 effortpost. It's a bluepill.
