It's far beyond simply a lack of inclusion; they're waging an active war on femininity just as they are on masculinity (although the war on masculinity has been far more destructive to men thus far).
I've never been a huge fan of the stereotypical anime facial styles. As I've gotten more into Japanese media, it's grown on me, but mainly when they get at least a little away from the tropes. What I really love is how well they do expressions though. They are a bit over the top most of the time, but they are just well placed.
The stories have grabbed me a lot more, even though I'd say at times they lack depth. Of course at other times they have too much depth. I don't need perfection though. A lot of times they stick with the concept of things like the boy going on the grand adventure, etc. There's a reason stories like that have stood the test of time and I enjoy those things that would be considered old and tired by the wokeists.
Of course to the point of the post, I do appreciate how they are never afraid to have women be women. It's not even that all women are either, but it really sticks out when western media has gone all in on strong, manly woman. As if the only way to be a strong woman is to pretend you're a man.
For sure, I've been trying to pick up Japanese a bit as well. My depth of experience with Anime and Japanese media is still pretty limited but growing. Doesn't hurt that so much of Western media has lost my interest.
I don't really watch their shit, but mostly because none of the content or storylines or characters really interest me at all. I enjoyed watching the entire Dragon Ball saga from its proper beginning a few years ago, fwiw*, and I tried to get into Hellsing; it's OK, but vampires just don't groove me. So I don't have any real dog in this fight, beyond knowing that they're coming after the stuff I like next, for sure. And what I like, has nothing to do with anything at all sexual, and in fact, I can't stand love stories or waste-of-time sex scenes to begin with.
(*I preferred it when it was simple chop-sockey, before it went all-out Wizard War stuff, and I couldn't suffer through more than a few episodes of that american saturday-morning Ghetto Trash version.)
I'll jump in here too - I know you're not asking for recommendations, but it's hard not to hand them out sometimes.
If you need english dubbing, you may as well quit while you're ahead, dubs are 99% terrible because of anti-merit hiring practices here. If you don't want to adjust to the japanese culture stuff, there's hope because maybe 20% of anime bypasses it with setting. If tropes particular to anime bug you, it's still possible but a lot harder, maybe 5% of anime.
Shin Sekai Yori could work - I recommend it to people tired of 'normal' anime. Source material is a novel, rather than manga, so it's not a "fun" story. Has excellent world building based on the author's knowledge of social psychology. Fantasy tilt of psychic powers being common and extremely powerful (this is not a shounen, don't expect power battles).
Casually mentions degenerates, and doesn't expand on how fucked up an outwardly conservative society like Japan's can get. Yes, men are men and women are kawaii in Japanese pop culture, which isn't very common in western media, but let's just look at what the most popular anime was earlier this year, Interspecies Reviewers.
Countless diverse races, from perky fairies to oozing slimes, inhabit the world. Naturally, such a melting pot of creatures has a broad and alluring variety of brothels.
Yeah, it's about magical fantasy prostitutes. Not very supportive of the rest of his argument about how promiscuous feminist Hollywood is ruining marriage.
There are many character archetypes in anime, some of which are bashful and ideal waifus, some of which are loose foreign girls. (ideal for sexually frustrated japanese boys?)
The anime industry is a medium just like live action television or youtube. There's quality content, and a lot of trash. Hollywood wokism just happens to have ruined western movies and TV for the past decade. Disney has already taken steps to unfuck itself, let's hope the rest of the industry realizes why they went broke.
Ishuzoku Reviewers was never the most popular anime. It did cause a lot of buzz in the west because of how how over the top it was, but at least in Japan I wouldn't say it was especially popular at all to be honest. And regardless, the implication that something like that is a product of Japan being an "outwardly conservative society" is laughable.
Don't misunderstand, I'm saying Japan is very conservative, except when the lights are off. You can't be a degenerate in public there, and people are very socially closed off and traditional compared to the west.
Do we really need a video to understand the simple undeniable truth that 2D>3D?
Western media has abandoned any attempt to include feminine women and that lack of femininity is poisoning society.

Maybe the real reason is racism against Japanese?

Watch the original Legend of Galactic Heroes.
It's one of the most based things to ever air on television.

It's because there are so many weaboo degenerates online
I am superior to weaboos. They pretend they are Japanese and get too into anime and manga. They are degenerates
