Vlasov was a model Soviet general who became the commander of the pro-German Russian Liberation Army of his fellow Red aAemy defectors. In 1945 they changed sides and saved Prague, after the silly Czechs began joyfully exterminating local German civilians and wounded soldiers from hospitals (like hanging them upside down and roasting them slowly in the streets) and thus attracted the attention of the SS formations massed nearby, before the Soviet tanks did arrive. The rescued Czechs then handed them over to the Soviets for their trouble, and resumed torturing the Germans. Lol.
General Anders, man, this is like THE Polish story of WWII. Like that, the Warsaw Uprising, and Auschwitz-Birkenau, if to choose 3 definitive stories. From Siberia to Monte Casino and beyond.

They were supposed to replace the Ukrainian police battalions in Volyn, which were part of the Governor-General and went over to the UPA. Poles joined the 102, 103, 104 mixed police battalions, as well as the police battalion of the 27 Volyn infantry division. In addition, 2 Polish police battalion was created - 107 (450 people) and 202 (600 people). Together with German troops and police, they fought with UPA units. Also, the Polish police battalions interacted with Polish self-defense units and participated in a punitive operation against the West Russian population. Police battalions were subordinate to the SS command in Volyn and in Belarusian Polesie.
Polish police were dressed in uniforms of the German military police. Armed with the first Soviet captured weapon, then received German carbines, submachine guns and light machine guns.
At the beginning of the 1944 year, soldiers of the 107-th Polish police battalion went over to the side of the Home Army. In May 202, soldiers of the 1944 battalion became part of the SS troops, and in August 1944 the battalion was defeated and dispersed in battles with the Red Army in the Warsaw area.
