They're not doing fucking enough.

And all this situation is the result of the decades of coddling and appeasing "our Russian partners".

It's not at all as he speaks normally and reminded me of this infamous "American debate champions" video from a decade ago.

Stop using idiotic acronyms, we've been literally begging for that "GAE" to arrive in Poland for decades and in return we could only watch horrifying spectacles like a cackling hag presenting that giant ghoul Lavrov her stupid fucking "reset button".

former ties to the KGB

Wasn't it Putin who said there's no such thing as a former Chekist?

No, it was in revenge for Facebook banning a number of Russian accounts recently.

The entire thread is filled with people who think that Facebook banned Russia.

Russia banned Twitter too. Over a decade after Medvedev had been one of the first actually high profile users.

You forgot Poland

What "the east" consists of, anyway, according to you?

They say Zero Hedge is a Russian asset and yet I read the article and just can't really see that.

They've been making military provocations against Sweden too (from the Kalinigrad enclave) because just why not I guess.

Putin on the TV today talking about "the need to return to international cooperation" looked the most nervous I've ever seen him, by far.

I mean, I know they're special forces. But what I'm saying it was their Facebook guy being emotional in boasting.

But it's also just how the (ex)Soviet special forces actually operate. Like just look how they were ordered to kill literally everyone in Amin's presidential palace while invading Kabul, and they did (even Amin's personal Soviet military doctor was killed).

https://twitter.com/mod_russia/status/1499643645892386819 (luckily no "risk of violence" from them, unlike in Trump's case)

Also Putin last night on Russian TV: "I am a Jew." (lol)

It does on Twitter, when posted here changes to "Stay informed" somehow.

In any case "Ukraine" was just a special forces Facebook guy, and "any Russians" were just artillerymen.

Iran is very divided on Russia. Some in the ruling circles openly call the Russians literal Satanists while praising Ukraine's Jewish leader, which is the weirdest timeline. That's after many years of Russia propping up the Islamic Republic politically and militarily.

In the heavily Iran-influenced Iraq they basically banned the pro-Russian sentiment.

I see some Facebook warrior got carried away in the hate speech against artillerymen in particular. The current version was changed considerably, having removed all the "no prisoners" references (https://facebook.com/usofcom/posts/3212999028931719).

But tbh these guys may still operate on the old Soviet Spetsnaz rules for the behind-enemy-lines "reconeissance and sabotage" missions. Meaning not to be slowed down by prisoners unless taken for a quick interrogation and then to be disposed of anyway. I know the Russians still work like that.

Actually for example American paratroopers in Normandy were told to not take any prisoners in the first 48 hours unless linked with the regular forces, and you can see it in The Band of Brothers as they shoot the Germans trying to surrender in the horse cart column ambush just after the landing and later even shoot the Germans who have been taken prisoner (including a German American guy). I heard the Germans calling them "Terror-Banditen" in one Normandy newsreel of theirs.

Ukrainian SDF

ССО Украины means Ukrainian SOF. I don't know what "SDF" could even mean besides Syrian Democratic Forces.

Their wolf emblem is pretty metal.

The blurp just changed from "Misleading" to "Stay informed" while I was posting it.

Ukraine's being saying they'll slaughter any Russians even if they surrender.

It's a lie, they don't say any of this at all. They don't even really mistreat prisoners they take, but one supply truck driver caught by a militia was really scared they're going to beat him so he was cowering, and some others were also seen badly terrified and crying. These trucks just drive around without escorts while armored vehicles get ditched because no fuel.

Anyway what they're really saying is they just (yesterday) invited the prisoners mothers to come and take them home. Released some of their messages to their moms too.

cultural and racial homogeneity

In his latest "diversity is our strength" (and it's a quote too) message from Putin, he just said, "I'm a Jew" (lmao).

Also said he's a Chechen, a Tatar, etc. Because apparently being a Russian means always being all that at once, according to the message. (Not mentioned: Ukrainians.)

Menawhile Moscow market just remains closed all week. Literally no longer a market economy anymore, again.

The China-backed Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank said it will suspend business related to Russia and Belarus in a sign of the two countries' deepening pariah status over the war in Ukraine.

Huh.

SupremeReader 4 points ago +4 / -0

The idea is "let's cut Russia off from literally everything". This market didn't even exist before around 1990 but now they're addicted to Western consumerism and it's not just Adidas clothing (which goes a bit further back actually).
