That would quickly trigger World War 3. I doubt we would be able to save Israel in time as Iran just unloads and wipes Israel off the map with shit tons of drones and missiles, crippling them as a country. If Israel responds with nukes, then they are likely to be nuked in turn by Pakistan or another great power, which would force US involvement, which will escalate into a nuclear war in worst case scenario.
America might be able to, but Israel does not stand a chance in a protracted war against Iran alone. They don't have the manpower nor the power projection.
