Here you go:

Dark version: https://i.imgur.com/otTUTkk.png https://i.imgur.com/o8yy3pE.png (new darker version)
See what you think. I adjusted the width of both the images from 4000 down to 3840 pixels which may indirectly adjust the vertical scaling very slightly too.
Lol, I think I actually agree with you. Here's what it would look like: https://i.imgur.com/2uSJvJ9.png
However, since I'm using the light themed version of .win, here's what it would look like: https://i.imgur.com/BhFj1Ng.png - as you can see, the white rim suits that better.
If you can't tailor one for light and one for dark, then yeah, just go with yours for both I think is wise.
Looking good, can you increase by about 5 more pixels to the bottom (large), since the white / pale blue border from the full image completes it. Also the small version needs more like an extra 10-15 pixel increase, but maybe you can't avoid that without it messing with the big version.
Ah, u/MetallicBioMeat has two l's in metallic.
MetallicBioMeat: See above.
Ah! So it looks like I was slightly mistaken about it being a direct drop in fix.
The top is good now, but it cuts off some of the bottom.
But it should still be very simple to fix again.... I hope. Even if you don't understand CSS, look for the CSS code (hopefully .win supports that), and look for a height number near to indicate where the banner is displayed. It should say something like "Height=200" or "Height=210". Simply add about 43 to whatever the number is, and the bottom of the banner should be displayed too.
Here, this should be just a simple drop-in replacement which won't require any changes to the CSS apart from adjust the image (in theory). I added more sky so that when the communities bar is overlaid, there's still be a decent amount of sky left:

I don't get it. Despite cases rising, deaths per day are practically zero according to even their own data (check Google "covid deaths uk").
