I like my solution -- split up more states into North South East or West depending on the demographic layout. A bunch of Democrats move into Southern TX (like they are doing), make South Texas a state and leave them there to govern themselves, while North Texas remains free and red. Do the same with any other states where this is happening.
I think this is doomer talk, no offense.
If China was going to do something they'd have done it back when the world was reeling from COVID and they had already "solved" it.
Don't forget Republicans picked up a lot of House seats, I think their majority is literally one or two seats by now in the House. Republican need to ride that momentum in 2022 and sweep the House and hold the Senate. And we have the courts.

Trump needs to institute a harsh national lockdown "for science" just to make sure that it becomes so unpopular that by January when Biden is inaugurated the US will be begging that something like this never happens again.
