There's no way Oracle competently manages this. It's as good as killing it.
Maybe. It's a simple and lucrative product. If they put the effort into developing it and keeping it from getting hacked, it could print money.
Oracle doesn't know how to manage "simple and lucrative". Their whole business model is selling high-cost complexity to the C-suite. Look at all the open-source projects they've bought only to have the developers and users revolt by using forks.
That's not remotely close to the nature of TikTok. TikTok has been tried. Vine and Snapchat have been similar. Snapchat has potential, but I think TikTok's potential is much higher.
Unless Oracle can figure out a way to get their millionaire salespeople to make money on TikTok, they will kill that platform.
