A good parent knows when to comfort their crying child and when to not reward crying just to get what they want. We’ve seen a few generations with many parents who comfort even when they shouldn’t.
That attitude has bled over to society, where we now have people who make serious accusations even when they’re completely inappropriate and are rewarded instead of appropriately shamed.
These people will stop throwing out accusations of “racism,” “sexism,” etc. like candy as soon as they’re treated like the children throwing a tantrum that they are.
