Of course, you can't be a tomboy without growing up to be a lesbian or even trans/non-binary.
And I'm willing to bet they're going to make it "dark and gritty" but it will end up being deviantart-tier edgy crap.
My prediction:
Blossom: Now poc of some sort (because she's a red-head). She's probably a career woman trying to work her way up in some company.
Bubbles: Learned about feminist and decided her previous personality was completely part of brainwashing by the patriarchy. Now, she's a feminist-anarchist activist. Probably has a masters in women's studies to show that blondes can be super smart.
Buttercup: Recently released from jail and in an anger management program. One day, a bad temper and super powers turned out to be a bad combination, resulting in massive property damage and possibly badly hurting some people.
Fairly afcurate. They want to exterminate the reds. :(
CW always has a lesbian character now, so I'm thinking it's Buttercup for sure.
I actually think they’ll go against the grain and black Bubbles instead of blossom. Bubbles seems to be the most popular/beloved of the three and she’s also the nicest, so I think they’ll make her black.
Buttercup will be made into a lesbian, bet anything on that. They might even change her race too, why not?
Blossom will probably be the same, but way more smug and bitchy. They’ll have her be the preachiest about feminism and social justice, and they’ll probably give her big thick rimmed glasses. Also Professor Utonium is going to be a total cuck and simp.
And it will somehow be even shallower than the spastic comedy cartoon reboot which was intended for small children.
