Man, when I saw that 2-plus minute first trailer, I was like "holy shit, they went full redpill on it". Then they cut it down, then they cut it down again. Can't have anything even remotely anti-Communist in our game about the Cold War, I guess.
I think they did it on purpose. They knew that China would object to the Tianamen Square footage and included it purposefully so the CCP would get upset and they would get more free coverage from it.
They include Yuri and Tianamen, then remove Tianamen because it pissed off the CCP, expecting the same people who know about Yuri would be pissed off at the CCP for censoring the trailer.
I'm more surprised that Kotaku would complain about censorship after spending years advocating for it.
Did they not think that their actions would lead to situations like this where the first sign of displeasure is met with removals and edits?

Its kind of ironic when you think about it, the communists won in the end.
Pinochet please come back

I feel like I'm being played.
Was Tiananmen Square footage shown under the "destabilization" portion of the video? Or talking about the government striking back, or...?
"Crisis" portion.
Call of Duty turns into Cucks of Duty at record speed.

Ehhhh, the article peaks at describing this real-life censorship from a totalitarian regime “a bit much”. I wouldn’t call that complaining
So the crazy left is defending Russia now?
It was CCP objections to Tiananmen Square footage.
I hope the people saying they were going to buy this game are paying attention
