What ever happened to being professional? For real; who the fuck is this guy and why should anyone care about his 'life is so unfair' sob-story? There's quite literally -- and with no hyperbole -- millions of people who hate their job or their boss. They're nearly all more than willing to spew vitriol and assume the person above them is an asshole. But when did it become the social norm to spill forth and project your own insecurity on them in public in order to villainize them?
This guy talks about how terrible his work experience was, and has the balls to say the guy who was paying and employing him is somehow a monster because of... rumors? You kidding?
Not to mention, it seems this guy is the owner of the company; a fact lost on big brain here. The guy owns the company -- it belongs to him. However, this guy seriously feels he's somehow entitled to dictate how it runs, what it exists for, who should be there, and even who should own it.
Where do these people get the nerve to tell a person who is generously employing and supporting them through his business that he's no longer welcomed and that things should be ran the way they want for the sake of their ideology. That's insane, like actually insane.
People like this genuinely believe that their employment entitles them to creative and moral control of the company that hired them. They don't even care that way over half the world thinks they're obnoxious self-serving megalomaniacs looking for hits of dopamine from their virtue; they lack any self-awareness and automatically fallback on the derogatory labels they throw around that have served them well thus far.
As time goes on, I'm continuously impressed by how successfully these types can drool their way through life as perpetual victim pariahs and be rewarded.
I really don't know how we can live in a time where people can have all of humankind's accumulated knowledge and wisdom at their disposal whenever they please and still end up so mind-bogglingly stupid.

Effort. Everything became effortless. And thus the new norm is to screw over those who actually understand a hard day's work.
They basically study, archive and protect pre-war technology with the intent of restoring humanity. To them the unrestricted access to technology by retarded people is what led to the great war and downfall of civilization and they vow to purge all non-human creations that are result of that (mutants, ghouls, raiders).
You should definitelly play Fallout 1 and 2. Just don't repeat the same mistake I did of precociously ending the game, do not touch anything at the church's basement unless you want to finish it.
There's also a third game but it's a weird FPS, it had a spin off which is better called New Vegas, shame we never got a 4th title.
Your talent will elevate the industry wherever you go, good luck out there
Who's willing to bet that if they are part of another (semi-)succesful endeavour, that their new company also is somehow problematic and they'll feel the need to tell everyone about it?
Supposedly, a while back he made a joke about Floyd, so unless there's video evidence of him raping somebody, I believe the real motivation is political. The political demographics of his haters would back that up.
He does buy the narrative. He apologized hard and provided proof he's been donating to BLM. His excuse is that the joke was him keeping it in people's mind. He's legitimately autistic.
This was the 2nd time Mike put Skullgirls in a negative light in a short period of time during the period where it looked like the game was finally catching a break (being featured in Evo for the first time). That's when he was cancelled by the community.
Nuance doesn't matter, he just had become a PR liability for being autistic. And now they want him gone forever. The guy who is responsible for the gameplay and the entire engine. Who nearly singlehandely has been balancing and fixing bugs since 2012.
Seriously, one doesn't have to defend his "behavior" to defend his rights as a business owner. "Rewarded for his awful behavior?" Bitch, he OWNS THE COMPANY. If you want him out, you're fucking BUYING it from him! The only other option is the one you took- leave, and pray that others follow you, and that reputation will prevent him from succeeding in the future.
I say "unknown allegations" because all I can see is that he made things uncomfortable for people (probably women who spoke up about it) and it's likely nothing big enough to go through any court system so they tried to oust him from the company instead.
Alright let me tell you guys a fact from this disgusting industry.
It is riddled with backstabbing, spineless and worthless bugmen (and bugwomen) who will fuck you up if they have the slightest chance of elevating themselves morally among their peers.
Whenever you see someone posting these giant letters spelling "omg I suffered so much from this toxic workplace environment!" is full of shit (in the gaming industry at least), chances are they activelly took part in forming that "toxic environment" as it is a known fact you can only get a job in the industry if you have the right friends or fuck the right people. Just to be clear there are people who don't know that and have a shocking realization when they start working, however those just fuck off once they realize they're among snakes or are smart enough to act like robots and not socialize with these venomous fiends.
Always question the claims, which in this case seem to be just that the dude was socially awkward (imagine complaining about an awkward dude among nerds lmao). But, when pondering if the claims are legit always remember these people TOLERATED AND TOOK PART IN THAT BEHAVIOUR until it wasn't convenient to do so anymore, then they throw the person under the bus and write a letter about how bad they had to obfuscate the fact that, they did know but said nothing.
My advice is to not socialize with co-workers or trust them enough to be yourself around them, that's a honey pot to get ammo and use against you when they see fit. I'm not saying you should give up in your dreams of making videogames, just beware you're working in a den of snakes and threat them as such.
"But you yourself said that only people with the right friends get work!" Yes, and as we see here they are a timebomb to implode the company, once that happens and they eat their own they won't have "friends" anymore so they'll be forced to hire people based on their competences and not friendship. I hear Lab Zero has positions open now.

We unironically need the Brotherhood of Steel it seems.
Never played a Fallout, so I don't really understand what kind of ideals they hold.

Yep, this is just another case of a bunch of leftists trying to exile someone who doesn't buy the BLM narrative.
They want full control of institutions and industry.
He does buy the narrative. He apologized hard and provided proof he's been donating to BLM. His excuse is that the joke was him keeping it in people's mind. He's legitimately autistic.
What got him in trouble was when twitch thot Bunny Ayu released DMs, which was shortly after the Floyd joke. In the DMs Mike spills spaghetti, is blunt, and proves he doesn't know how to talk to girls. But he doesn't say anything wrong, he just acts autistic.
This was the 2nd time Mike put Skullgirls in a negative light in a short period of time during the period where it looked like the game was finally catching a break (being featured in Evo for the first time). That's when he was cancelled by the community.

This is the daily reminder that women always backstab everyone who trusts them.

Imagine a bunch of managers being so full of themselves that they ask the sole owner of the entire company to leave because he made an off-color joke.
Imagine being one of those people, thinking you can just shame this guy out of his life's work and score yourself an ownership stake in the company.
Imagine then being surprised when the owner decided to just fire the whole board room.
I've half a mind to write mike an email congratulating him for stomping on these dipshits faces.
I say "unknown allegations" because all I can see is that he made things uncomfortable for people (probably women who spoke up about it) and it's likely nothing big enough to go through any court system so they tried to oust him from the company instead.
'Omergod, we told this guy he was totes racist and should give us his company and you know what he did? He, like fired us?'
Fuckwits.
