I can't feel bad for the residents; they chose this. Only Democrats are allowed to be so repugnant and duplicitous and still have the major media outlets pretend things are great -- or that the problems are all somehow conservatives fault.
Their style of politics is so intellectually lazy that it's akin to a literal child plugging his ears while screaming, "La la la la, can't hear you!" Yet, there are plenty of people who still bend over and ask for more.
It's enough to make the average person feel like they're having a stroke or a brain aneurysm.
So I'm glad the State -- and more so the city -- are crumbling all around them. In fact, I hope it continues to devolve and get worse. Let it become the "utopia" they've been striving for and show the world exactly what happens when you decide to make believe things are good just so you can virtue signal. Show the world what happens when you base your politics on looking good, instead of common sense.
