The trial for the police officers is gonna be a real shitshow.
There shouldn't even be a bloody trial...it's a complete farce.
If there's one thing this engineered crisis has reminded us it's that people are really fucking stupid...burning down the country cause some crackhead bit the dust.
It will be delayed I assume until after the elections. If Creepy Joe wins then the media will not report on the police officers getting away with a light sentence and will praise Joe for being such a unifying figure. If Trump wins then they will gaslight it.

Depends on the timeframe. If they can make it so that the aftermath cools down by the time Joe gets in office then you are correct. If not then they will need to delay it, the media will do everything in their power to make Joe the savior of America so they can't risk a race riot under Dementia Joe.
I thought the constitution (hah, ikr) allows for a speedy trial?
