To be honest I feel a little disconnected from the news of gaming, even before GG kicked off proper. Polygon and Kotaku were already pretty insufferable by then.

On the upside, I don't get dragged along any hype trails for disappointing games anymore, which saves me money and attention when I have a limited supply of both. Games like Fallout '76 and LoU2 doesn't make me particularly bullish on any new high-profile games for the foreseeable future anyway.
