they're cheap, and not uncommon in pawn shops, etc from my experience.

Beretta even made .25/.32 acp guns up until the mid 00's iirc.

I also think they're big in mexico because of weird rules about 'military calibers', so they use 9x21 instead of 9x19, stuff like that.

I'd heard about the Mexico thing, but I was unaware of the pawn shop stuff.
