What games are y’all playing? Suggestions/Reviews/Thoughts? Hyped up for anything and want to share? I’ve been devouring Dragon Quest XI and Little Witch Nobeta, needed an RPG fix badly! DQ actually greatly benefits from whatever graphic engine they are using, the cartoony style for Toriyama design is great (although he keeps reusing the same faces/archetypes for everything). Nobeta actually harder than dark souls for me, I can’t parry to save my life and am still stuck at the second boss. Also picked up SinOAlice because why not, peeps are still in quarantine here anyway.
Also, can we get a Vidya tag, please?
Been playing through the new Shantae game while trying to git gud again in Project Diva Mega Mix. I also let my friends drag me back into LoL, despite the Tencent ownership and Rito being virtue signalling idiots.
Return the favor by dragging them to Dota.
Valve's better than Riot on the cuckoldry/China front, even if the gap is narrowing of late.
Dota also offers much, much better graphics than League, and more nuanced gameplay balance.
If you're curious, it's 100% free (as opposed to Riot's 'free-but-grindy-or-expensive' model) - all of the actual gameplay is unlocked right from the start.
I've tried to get into DOTA, just hasn't hooked me in the same way as LoL. Might have just been that heroes I played, but I got frustrated ith it more than anything.
That's a fair point. I didn't really get into League until I found a champion I liked playing, and the same was true when I switched to Dota and started finding favorites in that roster as well. It took me 6 months or so to actually make the switch.
