I've heard people on our side who say Odyssey is good. Haven't seen it (won't until I find it on the high seas) but I don't think that's an unfair or selling out position. Nolan has made some great films and most of the woke castings are barely in the film.
But to call something a "masterpiece" means it is or is nearly flawless. The woke castings and modern dialogue alone prevent that.
