They had race and gender swaps, even the dog breeds of the one mush team were changed. They changed the motivations and deaths of multiple characters. And the ending is so vastly different. Maybe because it's a kids movie this movie didn’t get shredded in 2020, but it should have been.

Even though I love Bluth's animations, they even changed Charlotte's Web. They changed Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory even changing the title. And look at what they did to other works of Dahl. Dr. Seuss?
Remember, I lived with a children's librarian for several years.
