What's the required mutation rate for a new species? How many generations?
It's when the new species no longer breeds with the old species.
It's a little blurry. A coyote can breed with a domestic dog; they just don't want to. A horse can breed with a donkey, the offspring will just be infertile.
Species is just: this population now only breeds with itself, whether they could choose otherwise or not.
