I think most people are aware that Eisenhower in his farewell address gave a warning about the Military Industrial Complex. If you go to the National Archives page they even highlight it as the thesis of his remark. But he spoke of two dangers to the country, the other danger was the scientific-technological elite.
I'm a guy who isn't a historian but I do have an above average love of history and have studied a bit of it. I had heard about Eisenhower's warning about the MIC but never once heard about his other warning. How many of you here had heard about Eisenhower mentioning the Military Industrial Complex, but had never heard about his warning of the Scientific Technological Elite?
Ever see that video of him reacting to the JFK assassination? It's hard not to get the impression that he knew (or at least had good reason to suspect) more than he was allowed to say. At this point I'm convinced Israel did it and LBJ was in on it.
No actually I have never seen that one. I am in a similar place on the JFK assassination at this point. Would be great if someone could just spill all the beans on all this bullshit on their death beds. But knowing normies it wouldnt change a thing for our current predicaments....
