At that range? No, he wouldn't get lucky. It's difficult to even hit paper at 50 yards with optics that aren't actually zeroed.
Thank you, I haven’t shot long range and I’ve only set optics using a laser at relatively short range so I was giving the benefit of my lack of knowledge of that specific aspect of shooting
