Funnily enough, half-KiA back on plebbit still has about 50 times more traffic than this place and actually posts discussions and articles about games, comics, movies, anime, and combating wokeness in them.
Before I stopped oging there for good some years ago, there was WAAAAAY too many people making excuses for and justifying woke faggotry. The mods banning people who actually had based opinions and zero tolerance for woke faggotry had me throwing my hands up.
The whole... "but this tranny is one of the good ones!" made it impossible to argue anything in good faith. Having to tiptoe around not offending the tranny janitors and tranny-supporters in that sub was a bridge too far.
Acquiescing to any of that faggotry is pure bollocks and I cannot imagine that since then it has become more based and less accepting of the Left's long march to inculcate every aspect of society with their Marxist manure.

It's hard to believe after a 5 year detox from the nonsense but the half KIA mods somehow manage to make DOM look like a good faith actor in comparison.
And yet, if one wants to get news about upcoming games, anime, changes in the industry, etc, this sub here sure as shit isn't the place to find it anymore.
Yes, that's very true... my issue with half-KIA, though, was that thery didn't mind promoting woke games or creators so long as they met some arbitrary standard of not being "too woke".
They also were pretty heavy supporters of feminism, which I've developed a deep enmity for. They would oftentimes say "[insert wave of feminism] wasn't that bad and it was only [insert different wave of feminism]" that was a problem". They were always constantly ceding ground not to appear as "racist", "sexist, etc.
It was hard to browse, because it was tough not completely trashing the feminist, race-baiting, woke-slop that would sometimes appear over there and all of the users who supported it.
Your reasons are exactly the reasons I followed the stuff from KIA1, to KIA2, and then to here. The constant posting of that Narwitz dude all the time was insufferable. I can't imagine how horrible it's gotten since.
Plus the mods back then definitely ignored their own rules. I remember a number of times where certain mods broke the rules or were hostile (pinkerbelle) and weren't allowed to be questioned. Only mod that seemed to be for the sub back then was Brimshae. The rest were the typical reddit jannies.
I wish we could get both here. Freedom to discuss the broader subjects that tie into gaming, but a little less 24/7 politics.
