Like how the nearest Target store in my deep blue city, the one that locks everything up behind glass except suntan lotion, had plywood installed in front of all the windows just before the 2024 election.

And people in my city prefer living here over a high-trust community where there is never unrest but someone down the street could be a racist or a nazi!
