Righteous Lot was tormented living in Sodom and Gomorrah. The Bible praised his example of seeing everything that was happening around him and suffering internally because of it. Most Christians throughout all history have lived in pagan nations where they are helpless except to pray to God about what is happening. It is rare that Christians rise up and take out abominations. It says in the end times, when they come to drag you away and put you to death, do not resist them.
That is what being a Christian is in this world, recogonizing that this world is not ours, it is Satan's but Christ's victory is already won. That does not mean inaction for Christians. Wherever we can, we act to bring about righteousness, and what this woman did isn't even necessarily wrong, especially since she's accepting the consequence and not trying to fight it. But the point is when you say that Christians or the right say abortion is murder and do not follow through with actions that should naturally follow, you're ignoring that this looking out with despair is the common experience for all Christians. Christians looked with sorrow at the roman colluseum where they and others were put to death for sport. They rightly cry out that nations have blood on their hands, but they pray and accept the persecution because Christ said Christians would be persecuted.
It's not a contradiction that we say it's murder, but we also don't burn down abortion clinics. If we did what we wanted to instutions that are godless, we'd be acting like the world who has to take actions into their own hands. To the degree the right has been founded on Christian principles, is the degree that you see why we don't behave like the left, and to the degree the modern right rejects the bedrock of conservatism, is to the degree they are baffled why conservatives don't follow "rules for radicals" style tactics in order to win like leftists do.
