I've for some reason have become attached to videos of lawn maintenance, and every so often cops show up to stop the maintenance. I don't know how true this is but apparently sometimes the local government will cite someone for a fucked up yard, will give them a time frame to fix it. Then they will send cops to stop anyone who tries to improve the lawn before the deadline is reached. Because then they get to not only get to issue a fine, but they always use their own lawn maintenance people..
