I am a sucker for cute girls doing cute things though. And show me a catgirl (or other monstergirl) and I'm there dude! Even so there's some so bad I'll skip or drop them too.
You have watched Freiren of course. How about Ikoku Nikki? Which has nothing to do with witches, thankfully. It's all about the characters and it's 8.73 on MAL for good reason!
This season has (as usual) a lot of similar shows. Misunderstood princess, reluctant princess, isekai princess, scientist princess & etc. :/ Some will probably be good, but who can watch them all?
