Men do this I don't doubt, and the list could be summarized into, "What act is this woman putting on and what is she really like?" In a way most of this is logical to the purpose of "Is this a woman I want to spend my life with and create my family with?" Men looking for a relationship this is still what they want.

Where I find the problem is women's internal questions for a huge number of feminist-empowered (ruined) women is their questions aren't, "Will this man be a good provider for my family and who I want to have my children with?" It's been totally co-opted into "Does he make me get the feels or the ick?"
