From what I hear, Destiny 2's final update is the best ever with a ton of features everyone has asked for which leads me to think management made the devs drip feed it and now they're pulling the plug, they're dropping EVERYTHING that they ALREADY had done for months which goes to show how stupid management was.
The head of Bungie himself is on the record saying that "under promising and over delivering" is a bad thing because gamers grow to expect that kind of quality. He explicitly admitted that they drip feed updates to maximize profits.
Bungie's problem has been, ever since they broke off from Microsoft, bad management. Activision mismanaged them, they mismanaged themselves, and now Sony is mismanaging them. Which just goes to show that management, as always, ruins everything.
This is cope. The rank and file devs in every major western studio are majority DEI hires and leftist activists. Their games suck because the people making them - on every level - suck. There isn't some oppressed silent majority of based game devs who are patiently waiting for their woke bosses to go away. Most of the personnel at western game companies are fully onboard with wokeism.
