Topic: Steven Spielberg & symbolism. Steven Spielberg’s latest movie is lowest common denominator propaganda. It’s also ineffective. (media.scored.co)

I went and watched Ready Player One and it was slop.

  • protagonist and "smart" character both very jew coded
  • poor Whites portrayed as stupid, evil, or both
  • villain is a greedy materialistic...WASP (not impossible, mind, but given the context?) with a feisty ethnic girlboss sidekick who does his dirty work including the fighting
  • "heroes" are a diverse band of minorities including fat butch black lesbian
  • "the revolution" a band of misfits rise up against the evil White male patriarchy or some shit wasn't even paying attention by this point (kind of had a "gamers rise up" moment which was funny in hindsight)
  • microtransactions and DLC bad, except sometimes good, consoom the goyslop and get excited for the next goyslop
  • in the end the misunderstood geek hero gets the girl by being a super beta niceguy simp blah blah bullshit bullshit

2/10 and I'm generous. And it still got panned for "romanticizing pre-Gamergate 'geek culture'" which just proves there's no winning with these assclowns.

This is no defense, but from what I can remember the book had those same issues. Go figure, the one time Hollywood adapts something accurately. What are the odds?

I mean fair. Geeks were always weak, soft, beta, lefty-leaning people pleasers. It's why (((feminism))) did such a number on the community and Gamergate even happened at all.
