Basically any place where I can interactt with other people now need to "ensure" I am "18+." A way to prop up their buddy and their ID farming database. Also NO, I'm not taking a fucking selfie. They can fuck off. Whatt I look like is none of their fucking business.
So Canada is pure junk now. Soon I won't even be able to use Discord. So I wanna move, but where? Is there any country left that isn't a dystopian shithole at this point?
It's fucking infuriating that nobody cares, media cheers it up of course (like their cheered muh vax passport and muh 8pm curfew (yes you read that right)) and I'm just sick to death of this place.
I switched to cooking 90% of my food a couple years ago. I've had a few slips where I get lazy, but generally cook it all from as close to unprocessed ingredients I can get. I really barely pay attention to food prices anymore because I had such a noticeable decrease in cost from eating slop and takeout that it really doesn't matter anymore. I didn't go carnivore though, I eat a lot of rice and pasta. Very little bread. I'm very particular about sugar being added where it's not needed. Pork is great and super cheap. A lot of my cooking probably leans more east Asian in style versus American slab of meat with some roasted veggies, and you can do so much with random bits of pork when you're working in small chunks.
I just specifically remember seeing a $12.99 frozen pizza last week though. I had the same response, WTF who would buy this.
