He's allowed to deny, appeal and fight like buggery for his crimes to be true. A confession of drug-running and threatening to beat someone up show that.

I just think that if a system claims to be strong enough to convict for rape then the convicted rapist should see time for their actions.

I also think the same should be applied to those claiming to have been raped but are unable to prove that strongly enough against someone in a court of law.

The fact that some immigrant rapists walk regardless, just shows that the system doesn't protect the vulnerable in any way.
